Since her early childhood, Céline Robinet Reicher has always enjoyed contact with clay. This is why, in 2012, when she bought a second-hand wheel and kiln, working with clay seemed obvious to her. Self-taught and wishing to perfect her technique, she went to meet potters in Moselle and then undertook to perfect her skills with Céline Laurent at the Centre Professionnel International de Formation aux Arts Céramiques (CPIFAC) in 2016. This is how the Ecce Terra workshop was born.
Her utilitarian pottery made in small series are unique pieces, inspired by her travels. Céline likes to invent, shape, create, explore the material, and seek the balance between clay and glazes. The result is particularly impressive: soft shapes combined with the roughness of chamotte clay, blue and green colours that plunge us into the heart of nature... Ecce Terra has found its trademark! Moreover, her "touch" has caught the eye of some of the region's restaurateurs, as her creations can be seen on the tables of the restaurant "Les Roses" in Mondorf and the wine bar "La Verrière" in Colmen.
She has been living in Waldweistroff for about ten years and in May she set up and inaugurated her new workshop in the barn of her house, in order to continue her ceramic production in the best possible conditions. Céline is also looking forward to welcoming many curious people and visitors so that she can pass on her passion for pottery and its infinite possibilities.
Of course, it is still possible to find her creations in the shop "Ane Art Cie" in Sierck-les-Bains.
